1922 Addis Officials elected on June 13th, received their commission but did not qualify due to “miss-layed comminssions”, Allen Mouch wrote a letter to Governor John M. Parker to appoint officials
elected by the people but did not qualify to serve until the next general election of 1924 and these officials were sworn in on August 28th.
1936 Secretary of State’s office has NO LISTING for the Town of Addis relative to commissions for elected officials for 1936 and 1940.
1947 J. A. Lejeune appointed Constable at death of H. C. Gascon??????
1960 A. E. Fitzgerald dies in office, no one appointed.  W. J. Goodwin, A. J. Clouatre and Hilton Guidry, Sr. elected and takes office in July
1967 W. J. Goodwin elected Mayor- W. E. Fitzgerald elected and takes office in July
1972 Mayor W. J. Goodwin resignes and moves to Australia, Hilton Guidry, Sr. appointed Mayor; Buddy Deville elected Mayor and takes office in July.  Alderman William Shaw dies in office and
Joe Delapasse appointed.
1973 Joe Delapasse moves out of the Village and resigns, Pete Strauss appointed.
1974 Mayor Buddie Deville dies in office, W. E. Fitzgerald appointed mayor July 24th and Bobby Rabalais appointed alderman to take W. E. Fitzgerald’s seat
1977 Chief of Police Chuck Tuminello dies in office, Riley Spurlock appointed Chief in September
1980 Carroll Bourgeois elected mayor and takes office in July; Chief of Police Riley Spurlock resigns in May, Ted Berthelot appointed and then elected Chief of Police.
1982 W. E. Fitzgerald dies in airplane crash in Kenner, Norwood Fitzgerald appointed to fill position.  Brett Myhand resigns as Alderman to move out of Town, Ges Leblanc Appointed
1986 Norwood Fitzgerald resigns, Robert Rabalais appointed.  Billy Creel wins special election to fill unexpired term of Norwood Fitzgerald.
