One of the oldest structures in Addis, the beautiful building has had many different lives. Whether serving the public as a bank or a post office, the building has stood silent witness to the entire history of our town.

Through hard work and determination, this wonderful building has been dedicated as the Addis Museum.

The Addis Museum is open from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. every third Tuesday of the month. Please visit the best-kept secret in West Baton Rouge Parish.  The Addis Historical Society is very proud of preserving the history of Addis, once a very important railroad hub and path to the west.  The Museum is located at 7821 Harris Avenue in Addis, Louisiana.
