Summer camp features hunt for treasure

The West Baton Rouge Museum is accepting registration for its Blast from the Past Summer History Camp series. Children ages 6 through 12 will explore science, technology, history, and the thrill of treasure hunting in celebration of the national traveling exhibit, The Hunt for Treasure!

Museum staff and visiting artists, historical characters and storytellers will lead campers in cracking codes, solving history mysteries, writing with invisible ink, and going on an archaeological dig. Two one-week sessions will be offered: June 17-21 and June 24-28. Space is limited. Registration is $65 for WBR residents and members of the WBR Historical Association, and $75 for others.
