FIRE SUB-DISTRICT #1 OF WEST BATON ROUGE
MINUTES

The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners for Fire Sub-District #1 of West Baton Rouge Parish was called to order by E-O-C Bourgeois at 7:13 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2006.

Roll Call: Present: Executive-in-Charge Bourgeois; Commissioners Caxes; Gauthreaux; Landry; Parrish; Toups.
Absent: None

Minutes: The minutes of the July 5TH regular meeting were approved, as mailed, on a motion by Commissioner Toups, 2nd by Commissioner Gauthreaux and adopted.

2005 Audit Report: Kathleen Beard, CPA, gave a review of the 2005 audit report. Following her report, a motion was made by Commissioner Cazes, 2nd by Commissioner Parrish to accept the report, as presented. The motion was adopted.
A copy of the audit report is available in the Town Hall office for any interested citizen to review.

The meeting was temporarily adjourned at 7:20 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Cazes, 2nd by Commissioner Gauthreaux and adopted.

The meeting was reconvened at 8:23 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Cazes, 2nd by Commissioner Landry and adopted.

Finance: A motion to pay bills presented which were found in order, was made by Commissioner Landry, 2nd by Commissioner Parrish and adopted.

Report: The monthly report, given by Todd Leveron, included 13 rescue/first aid calls; 3 wrecks worked; and 1 residential fire. Training for the month, attended by 4 firemen, were on Hazardous Materials Operations, held on July 17th ; 18th ; and 19th.

Purchases: No new purchases. Todd reported that the copier has been repaired.

E.O.C. Bourgeois advised that the Superboard had met to discuss the purchase of a new fire truck for Fire Sub-District #2 of WBR (Brusly).

Adjourn: The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Toups, 2nd by Commissioner Parrish and adopted.
